I am thinking about getting the merina iud birth control ring?

I am really interested in the Marina iud birth control ring but would like to know if there are any really bad side effects and if you get a regular period not just some surprise spotting and bleeding out of no where i am now on the pill but am keep forgetting to take it. any feed back would be great
